AWS re:Invent 2024 lived up to its reputation as one of the most dynamic tech event. Held across six hotels in Las Vegas, the event gathered partners, cloud innovators, and technology leaders worldwide. For five immersive days, TmaxSoft engaged deeply with the latest cloud advancements, participated in transformative keynote presentations, attended technical workshops, and connected with customers and partners to discuss the future of cloud innovation.
We're excited to share six major points from AWS re:Invent 2024. These insights, drawn from keynote presentations, technical workshops, customer meetings, and product showcases, are set to guide our continued growth and innovation at TmaxSoft.
AWS re:Invent is not just a conference; it’s a full-fledged cloud experience that blends learning, networking, and technical exploration. With a packed agenda of keynotes, technical deep-dives, and countless networking opportunities, re:Invent is a platform for learning, innovation, and meaningful discussions about the future of cloud computing.
For TmaxSoft, attending AWS re:Invent is a strategic priority that enables us to keep pace with cloud trends, deepen relationships with AWS, and explore innovative ways to improve our offerings. OpenFrame, for instance, continues to play a critical role in helping our customers modernize their legacy infrastructure and fast-track their cloud migration efforts.
This year’s keynote sessions delivered a compelling mix of visionary leadership and practical insights. From AWS’s ongoing innovations to the role of AI in shaping the future of cloud, here’s a closer look at what resonated with us:
screenshot of CEO Keynote with Matt Garman
AWS’s CEO, Matt Garman, delivered a forward-thinking keynote focusing on AWS’s leadership in cloud innovation. New services such as EC2 TRN2 and significant updates to S3 buckets were unveiled to help businesses innovate more efficiently.
The most exciting part? The role of generative AI and machine learning (ML). Garman emphasized how these technologies are solving complex problems, accelerating digital transformation, and reducing operational costs for enterprises worldwide. His overarching message was that the future of cloud computing lies at the intersection of AI-driven capabilities and scalable, customer-focused solutions.

Dr. Werner Vogels, AWS’s CTO, highlighted how AWS remains dedicated to making its services simpler and more user-friendly. He outlined six core principles that AWS follows for building scalable, reliable, and customer-focused cloud solutions:
Vogels stressed that AWS’s mission has always been to take on the burden of complexity so customers don’t have to. This commitment aligns closely with TmaxSoft’s mission, especially in providing solutions like OpenFrame, which simplify the modernization of legacy infrastructure.

Ruba Borno, Vice President of AWS Partner Programs, gave a keynote emphasizing the critical role AWS partners play in shaping the cloud ecosystem. As an AWS ISV Accelerate partner, this resonated deeply with TmaxSoft. Borno highlighted the importance of collaboration and the value AWS partners bring in delivering cloud solutions to customers. She showcased real-world examples of how AWS partners like TmaxSoft are helping customers modernize legacy infrastructure and accelerate cloud adoption.
For us, Borno’s speech reinforced our belief that TmaxSoft is well-positioned to guide customers through the complexities of mainframe modernization.

4. Meeting with Customers
A major highlight of AWS re:Invent was meeting with our customers. We had the chance to sit down with Donghaeng Lottery and AWS to discuss how TmaxSoft’s product like JEUS, WebtoB, and HyperFrame can support their cloud migration. These meetings highlighted the practical value of our offerings in helping customers overcome the complexities of digital transformation.
5. Booths Experiences
AWS re:Invent’s exhibition halls are always a hub of innovation, and this year was no exception. We spent time at booths from AWS and its partners, exploring cutting-edge technologies and discussing how these solutions could integrate with TmaxSoft’s offerings. The networking and engagement opportunities helped us discover new avenues for driving cloud adoption and modernization.
